The mission of Lake Junaluska is to be a place of Christian hospitality where lives are transformed through renewal of soul, mind, and body. This hospitality is provided to ALL persons, without discrimination.

In Assembly Public Works, we strive to fulfill this mission by providing residents and guests with safe, timely, and high quality public work services and superior customer support. In doing so, we hope to minimize many of the distractions that can interfere with those transformations, while keeping the community running smoothly in the background!

After-Hours Service

LJA Public Works On-Call Staff

During evenings or weekends, if you are experiencing a water leak, sewer backup or need to report a downed tree blocking a roadway, please call the Haywood County Non-Emergency Dispatch line at (828) 452-6666. Dispatchers will contact the Public Works On-Call staff and anyone else who may need to respond. 

During regular business hours, please call the Public Works office at (828) 452-5911.

LJA Security Officer-on-Duty  (24-hours, Year-Around)

To reach the LJA Officer-on-Duty, please call (828) 734-5575. Or, you may contact the 24-hour Haywood County Non-Emergency Dispatch line at (828) 452-6666.

In case of emergencies, call 911.
